One-to-one lessons with Oriol Gómez Sentís
English that sounds like English
I'm Oriol. I studied Translation and Interpreting, and I teach one-to-one English lessons over video call. We talk a lot, I correct you without rushing, and we spend real time on pronunciation.
- C2 English
- American pronunciation
- Native Spanish and Catalan
- I also speak German (B2)
There's nobody in the room right now
This is the room I hang out in while I work. If you fancy trying your hand at English and you catch me in there, just walk in — the first lesson is free. Right now it's empty, so drop me a line through the form and we'll sort out a time.
What the lessons are like
One hour, live, just the two of us. The room opens in your browser — nothing to install.
-
We talk a lot
Lessons are mostly conversation. We cover grammar when you need it to say something specific, not as a list to memorise.
-
American pronunciation
We spend time on the sounds that don't exist in Spanish, which are the ones that give people the most trouble. It's the part that usually gets the least practice.
-
With your own material
If you're preparing for an interview or a certificate, that's what we work on. If you need English for your job, we use what you read and write every day.
Prices
The first lesson is free and we use it to see where you are. After that you pay by the hour, and coming as a group works out cheaper for everyone.
First lesson
Free no strings attached
We use it to gauge your level, talk about what you need and decide what's worth working on. If it doesn't convince you, that's where it ends.
One-to-one lesson
€20 per hour
An hour over video call, just the two of us, on whatever you need: conversation, pronunciation or the material you bring along.
In a group
€15 each, per hour
If several of you come together, each of you pays less for the same hour. It works best when you're all at a similar level.
Every lesson is over video call and lasts an hour. If you need something different, tell me and we'll sort it out.
Shall we start?
Tell me what you need and when you need it. We use the first lesson to see where you are and what's worth working on.
